Lily Allen has filmed herself stealing someone's "FUCK OFF KANYE" flag at Glastonbury and burning it. Watch below.
Kanye West headlined Glastonbury on Saturday - a booking that proved controversial from the off. In fact, a petition asking Emily Eavis to "cancel Kanye West's headline slot and get a rock band" gathered over 130,000 signatures.
In response to this reaction, Eavis wrote, "I have such faith in humanity, but believe me, some of the vitriol being thrown around this week has made me question the dark underbelly of the web. Who are those people silently shouting in disgust, throwing out threats from behind their screens?"
Now Lily Allen has taken on the mantle of peacemaker, writing on Instagram: "The flag said FUCK OFF KANYE .so I burned it till it said just KANYE . Don't go for dinner at someone's house and tell them their food sucks.i should be clear that this picture was taken BEFORE Kanye played on Saturday."

Despite the best efforts of that petition, and whomever created the ill-fated flag, Kanye West did headline Glastonbury on Saturday. See Gigwise readers' reaction to the set here, and read our own (much more complimentary) review here.
