After storming Glastonbury festival last week, the one and only Lionel Richie has found himself back at the top of the album charts.
The 'Dancing On The Ceiling' icon proved to be a true highlight of the weekend with a hit-packed set when he performed in the legends slot on the closing day of Glasto.
Now, his greatest hits album of solo work and singles from The Commodores, The Definitive Collection, is sitting at No.1 in the UK albums chart.
"I was overwhelmed performing at Glastonbury in front of all those people and for the fans to make the album No.1 is unbelievable," he said. "The UK has always been a special place for me, thank you, I love you all."
Lionel Richie then took online to thank his many devoted fans for the honour:
