Rare footage has surfaced online of Thom Yorke playing Radiohead's seminal hit 'High and Dry' with his early band, Headless Chickens. You can watch the video below.
The footage features Yorke performing the track in the late 80s. 'High and Dry' is a part of Radiohead's 1995 album, The Bends.
Drawn to the attention of the internet by a Reddit user, the video shows Yorke and his pre-Radiohead crew playing a show at Exeter University's Lemon Grove.
Headless Chickens only ever released one song during their short time together entitled, 'I Don't Want To Go To Woodstock' and saw a slight success in the Exeter punk scene scoring gigs supporting Eat and De La Soul.

Radiohead drummer, Phillip Selway has recently discussed how the new album is coming along, saying, "Come September it just becomes quite a full schedule."
Speaking to Ghostpoet as a part of The Talkhouse podcast, the drummer spoke of the current state of Radiohead: "For so long we kind of played exclusively with each other and that takes you so far, so I suppose from album to album you try to push yourself beyond your comfort zone".
