Pete Doherty sprayed Nirvana lyrics on the wall of his Ibiza dressing room, according to photos released by the gig organisers.
The Libertines headlined Ibiza Rocks' tenth birthday edition last month. After the show, sources told NME, Doherty was "in high spirits", and surprised festival staff by going into the finance office backstage to thank those working behind the scenes.
He also graffitied the walls of his dressing room with lyrics from Nirvana's 'Come As You Are' - "As a friend, as a known enemy" - with black spray paint. There's subsequently been some debate over whether the lyric is actually "as an old enemy," not "as a known enemy." It's the thought that counts though. See the graffiti below.

At local hotel Pikes, Doherty is said to have been spotted strumming a guitar by the swimming pool as his girlfriend played harmonica. The day the band left, more pieces of graffiti were discovered - the letters "QPR" on the poolside terrace, and more on the bedroom ceiling of his suite. We're sure the cleaning staff were thrilled.
At the end of last month, The Libertines played a two-hour surprise gig in Camden, after spontaneously deciding to get onstage while drinking together. They've also promised fans 'a week of Shenanigans' in a surprise run of events at a secret London venue in the run-up to new album Anthems For Doomed Youth.
The Libertines will release Anthems For Doomed Youth on 4 September.
The band will return to the UK to headline Reading & Leeds festival across August Bank Holiday weekend, and will also see performances from Metallica, Mumford & Sons, Jamie T, Limp Bizkit, Royal Blood, Kendrick Lamar, Alt-J and many more.
