London electronica trio Vaults soundtrack this year's John Lewis Christmas advert, with a cover of Randy Crawford's 1980 single 'One Day I'll Fly Away. Watch the advert below.
Continuing the trend of a relatively small artist putting an emotional and festive twist on a hit track - John Lewis chose Vaults to provide music for the clip, which sees Buster the dog witness a garden gathering of wildlife on the family trampoline.
Much like Aurora - who soundtracked last year's clip with her cover of Oasis' 'Half The World Away' - Vaults are yet to release a debut album, though they have built up quite the online following, with over a million Soundcloud hits and 20 million views on Youtube. The band also released EP Cry No More in 2015.
You might already be familiar with the band's self-described "introspective electronica" as their single 'One Last Night' was featured on the Fifty Shades of Grey Soundtrack.
As was the case with Aurora, you can expect the ad to work tremendously in the band's favour, in terms of popularity and future success. Keep your eyes peeled.
