So it has actually happened, the new president of America is Donald J. Trump.
It wasn't exactly a landslide victory, but it was one that was won fair and square.
The exit polls had Clinton leading the line, but what is always clear with polls, is that they can not be trusted in politics.
Whilst Clinton lost, the musicians who came out in her support, and there were a lot of them, are all furious on Twitter.
In the run up to the election, pop royalty such as, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Elton John, Lady Madge and Lady Gaga all came out to support Clinton.
It would appear, that they were just plainly not enough to swing voters, even after Trump failed to properly pronounce Beyoncé's name.
Of course, they are furious in real life, but they are airing their concern on social media...

We must be graceful in defeat now. The worst thing we can do right now is divide further. We do not concede what are our fundamentals but..
