Robbie Williams has announced a 2017 European Stadium tour and has expressed his wishes to add a Glastonbury 2017 headline slot to the string of the dates. 

The 'Party Like a Russian' singer, has announced 29 dates in 18 countries, and at a press conference admitted he would love to headline the Worthy Farm festival. 

Williams said: "If they ask me I would do it but I don't think it's going to be happening next year. I would love to do Glastonbury again.

"I would like my moment on the Pyramid Stage in front of a record-breaking amount of people please."

The last time Williams played Glastonbury, in 1998, it was the wettest day the festival has ever recorded. 

Robbie Williams' tour is set to kick off in the Etihad Stadium on the 2nd June 2017, The tour will see synth duo, Erasure, join him as special guests. 

The tour will be in support of his latest album, Heavy Entertainment Show. The singer said he is still working on the "wows" for the tour, and hopes to have his collaborators join him on stage. 

The singer recently played an intimate set in London's Troxy, where his former bandmates, Take That, joined him on stage.
