Ryan Adams has finished his Taylor Swift cover album after only two weeks on working on his renditions of tracks from 1989.

Adams revealed that he planned to cover the popstar's latest album on Twitter earlier this month much to the delight of Swift who vowed to never "sleep tonight or ever again and I'm going to celebrate today every year as a holiday".

While many binned the idea as a PR stunt, Adams has revealed that he's only gone and finished the album over Instagram. The songwriter has spent each night since the original announcement in the studio and updated his Twitter and Instagram as the album came together.

Ryan Adams covering Taylor is probably the best news the popstar has received after a recent string of bad incidents including a feud with Nicki Minaj, being labelled 'calculated and mean' by Grizzly Bear and being lunged at by a man while onstage.
