The combined influence of New York and East London form the unrelenting sounds of Jingo. Listen to their latest single '45 Friends' first on Gigwise below.
There is no more powerful bond in the world than marriage - and that's evident from the volcanic chemistry between Jingo's guitarist Jack Buckett and singer Katie Buckett. Combined with thunderous percussion, Jingo are locked and loaded to break some ears.
Their new single '45 Friends' combines tightly bolted grooves with dissonant growls that grow from palm-mutes to stadium-sized riffs at the drop of a pin. Katie's sultry vocal bobs and weaves as the rocking instrumentation plays a fatal round of tug-of-war with itself.
Jingo's new EP, entitled Ghost In The Machine, is out on 25 September and - armed to the teeth razor sharp attitude and unforgiving hooks - is not recommended for the faint of heart.
