Bat For Lashes’ Natasha Khan has been teasing an announcement for fans with an ongoing game of hangman via her instagram and Twitter accounts. Today, she’s finally revealed a snippet of music. Listen below.
Natasha Khan released the excellent Haunted Man back in 2012, and now she looks ready to return after posting a series of cryptic artwork images on Twitter, as well as releasing a small portion of music.
However, it looks like we'll have to guess the name of her fourth LP, as she has been gradually revealing the title by playing the classic game of hangman - and so far we've only been given the letters 'E', 'L', and 'I', with some spaces thrown in to reveal '_E_LI___'.
Now, there's a rave-inspired piece of high-energy and beat-driven music to go along with it all.
Listen to the eerily energetic snippet below:

During a period of no album hints, Khan has contributed the track ‘Skin Song’ to a Body of Songs compilation foucused around the human body, as well as the collaborative 'Garden's Heart' with Jon Hopkins, 'Let's Get Lost' with Beck' and a cover of Depeche Mode's 'Strangelove'. She also worked Damon Albarn's Everyday Robots for the track 'The Selfish Giant'.
Hopefully, we'l be hearing more information and music from Bat For Lashes very soon. Keep your fingers and toes crossed.
