Good news for fans of Morrissey - The Smiths turned solo icon is set to release his first ever novel, The List Of The Lost. 

Mozza famously published his long-awaited autobiography in 2013 - controversially as a Penguin Classic. 

Now, Morrissey fan-site and his official mouth-piece True-To-You have revealed that Penguin will now publish his first ever novel in September, with a release date due to be announced in the coming weeks. 

Morrissey recently made headlines when he discussed his thoughts on Barack Obama, battle with cancer, thoughts on suicide and the much-discussed airport 'rear cleavage' groping incident on US TV

Meanwhile, fellow former Smiths member Johnny Marr is preparing to release and autobiography of his own, while working on a screenplay
