Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl invited a fan onstage to down a beer together when he discovered it was his 50th birthday. Watch it below.
The Foos were playing in Clarkston, Michigan when Grohl spotted a man in the crowd holding a sign reading, "It's my 50th. Let's have a beer." He promptly invited the fan, who was named Griffin, onto the stage to grant his wish.
"I know it's your 50th birthday," he said. "We've got a lot of songs we’ve got to play tonight. I’m gonna share this beer with you, and then I’ve gotta do my job."
He added, "Griffin went to Office Depot and bought one piece of cardboard and a magic marker. There you go, that’s all it takes." The pair then proceeded to down a can of beer each, before high-fiving.

This isn't the only onstage fan interaction Grohl has encouraged recently - earlier this month, he invited a crying man onstage and performed 'My Hero' to him. It later transpired that the man was crying because he had just returned from burying his mother.
