Charlie Sheen publicly revealed that he is HIV positive on the Today Show this morning (17 November). Justin Bieber was a guest on the same episode, to promote his new album and 2016 tour - but his team reportedly requested that he be kept far away from Sheen.
After frenzied media speculation, Charlie Sheen, who is perhaps best known as the star of Two & A Half Men, made the announcement this morning. The actor was diagnosed as HIV positive four years ago, and says he's paid million of dollars in blackmail money to several people who knew of his condition.
According to Radar Online, a show insider claimed, "Justin’s team has requested the dressing room away from Charlie. They want to make sure he’s as far away from Charlie as possible." The source went on to claim, "Justin wants nothing to do with Charlie."
Radar also reports that Bieber was initially supposed to appear on the show a few days ago, but his appearance was cancelled due to the Paris attacks. Bieber suffered a personal loss in the terrorist attacks - his "friend" Thomas Ayad, who worked for Mercury Records, was killed.
Justin Bieber's new album, Purpose, was released earlier this month, and he recently announced his Purpose World Tour.
