Emma Bunton, AKA Baby Spice, has discussed a one-off Spice Girls reunion gig at Wembley stadium.
In an interview for The Telegraph, the pop star suggested that she would be up for a reunion gig, “Wouldn’t it be amazing? Fingers crossed. That’s something we’d really love to do”.
When Geri Halliwell tried calling her during the interview, Bunton responded, “I’ll speak to her after and tell her you suggested it.”
Speaking more broadly about the reunion and the group, Bunton said, “"We adore each other. There's so much we've been through. I would love to do something… I think we'd all quite like to do something, but it really is figuring it out. We all have such different lives. Mel B lives in America. We've all got different managers."
Previously, Mel B had heavily hinted at the possibility of a reunion in the form of either a tour or a new album, or even both.
Speaking to the Press Association, Mel B said, "We're going to be doing something at some point with, hopefully, all of us… I mean, there's nothing like getting up on stage and performing live to your fans and to a great crowd. You can't beat that. So I'm always wanting that feeling back."
2016 would mark the group’s 20th anniversary after releasing their debut single, ‘Wannabe’ in 1996.
