Radio 2 fans will be able to see Noel Gallagher perform live at the BBC Radio Theatre, London, on 2 December in a special set - without his high flying birds. Presenter Jo Whiley revealed the gig will be broadcast on Radio 2 and also available online from 8pm.
Jeff Smith, Head of Music at BBC Radio 2, stated: “We’ve persuaded a fantastic range of world class musicians to our In Concert stage over the year and it’s great to have Noel Gallagher join us again with some unique interpretations of his songs.”
Tickets for the event are free and entrants must apply between 8.30pm on Monday 23 November and 10.00pm on Thursday 26 November, online here. Winners will be selected at random once the registration period has closed.
The famously angry Manchunian, who was recently slammed Adele, 1D and Kanye West, tweeted the poster for the event and draw details.
