In a surprising performance, 'Centuries' rockers Fall Out Boy teamed up with 90’s R&B legends, Boyz II Men to perform the Boyz II Men classic, ‘Motownphilly’ on Jimmy KImmel’s live show.
Dressed in matching black baseball jackets, the amalgamated Fall Out Boyz II Men rocked the stage and magnetized the audience with their electric energy.
Although their performance can’t top the original, it certainly pays ample homage to the 90’s classic and all the boys looked like they were having a good time.

The performance is contagiously re-watchable and both bands remind us why they are so seminal in their respective genres and that their talent still lives on decades later.
The punk-rock and R&B mash-up was a result of Jimmy Kimmel’s Mash Up Monday, which has been running since February 2015. Other mash-up acts include Aloe Blacc and Blackstreet, AKA Aloe Blaccstreet, performing ‘No Diggity’.
Fall Out Boyz II Men closed the 7-month mash-up series and may just have been the best in the series. Aerosmith and Run DMC have finally met their match.
In October, Fall Out Boy also shocked the web with their spectacular performance of Disney’s ‘I Wanna Be Like You’, ahead of the We Love Disney cover album that was released at the end of the month.
