The first batch of acts for Brighton's Great Escape festival have been revealed, and the bill includes the likes of Mystery Jets, Oh Wonder, Shura, Dilly Dally and Tuff Love.
The festival focusses on spotlighting the best new artists from the UK and beyond. Last year's roster included Swim Deep, Slaves, Ho99o9, Rat Boy, The Big Moon, SOAK and Skepta. Every year too, there are one or two more established acts heading up the bill. Last time that responsibility fell to The Vaccines, and next year it's Mystery Jets' turn.
Also on the line-up for the festival, which takes place across the city between 19 and 21 May, are Vant, Mura Masa, beach Baby, Declan McKenna, Girli, Salute and Timberwolf.
With the new year comes new developments too. As eFestivals reports, this year sees The Great Escape's age limit reduced to 16+ at certain venues, which means even more music fans will be able to catch up-and-coming artists before they blow up.
There's plenty more names to come - there'll be over 400 bands playing across more than 35 venues, so watch this space.
