Timbaland is set to drop brand new mixtape on Christmas Day (25 December). A month ago, Timbo was teasing that a new mixtape was on the horizon, and today, he's revealed that the mixtape is here. Titled King Stays King, and it'll be released on Christmas.
It's been while since we last heard from the hit producer, but now it seems that Timbo is back with brand new material and also unreleased work from an R&B legend too.
The mixtape won't be a cover of festive classics for your ears, but will include features from artists such as Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Mila J and many more. In addition, the mixtape will be including a previously unheard track from the late Aaliyah which the mega producer has kept under lock and key for years.
"It's been a while since I've been able to give the world some new music," Timbaland said. "I've spent a lot of time working on this project and I am just looking forward to giving my fans some dope sounds to close out the years."
To coincide with the mixtape, Timbaland has also announced a 20-city club tour which will kick off in January to support the release. 2016 will also see the release of Mosley's new LP, Textbook Timbo.
