Former Motorhead guitarists Phil Campbell and 'Fast' Eddie Clark have explained why they missed Lemmy's funeral in Los Angeles on Saturday via social media.
Lemmy's funeral saw Josh Homme, Slash, and Duff McKagan, among other rock n' roll royalty descend on Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery to pay tribute to the life of Lemmy Kilmister, who passed away after a short battle with cancer on 28 December.
But Phil Campbell who was Motorhead's guitarist since 1984 and 'Fast' Eddie Clarke who played from 1976-1982 were unable to make it.
Clarke revealed via Facebook that he was unable to make it as the U.S. wouldn't hand him a Visa to travel due to 'past sins'.
Meanwhile, Campbell tweeted: "I really wanted to attend but I wasn't able to make it[...] Unfortunately I was advised on doctors orders not to fly on such a long haul flight due to my recent hospitalisation."
Amazing service for Lem the other day, everyone there spoke beautifully. I really wanted to attend but I wasn't able to make it...
