Who will soundtrack the real thing?

A teenager's A-Level project has fooled the internet into thinking he is behind the now-iconic John Lewis Christmas advert.

As the festive season rapidly approaches, it's only a matter of time before what's become one of the most highly-anticipated moments of the build up to Christmas appears on our screens. Nick Jablonka, an a-level media student has however tricked viewers of his latest project into thinking he has produced this year's clip.

Following the trend of previous adverts, the clip follows the journey of a lonely festive charachter, set against an emotionally-charged soundtrack - in this case 'Follow You Follow Me' by Vapor feat. Adaline.

Music plays a large part in the adverts, and last year's clip featuring Aurora's cover of Oasis classic 'Half The World Away' provided the then-unknown singer with an incredible amount of exposure in the lead-up to her debut album release.

With the cover versions being a main talking point of the adverts, we look forward to seeing what track has been given the festive makeover this year. Previous covers include Lily Allen's version of Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know', Gabrielle Aplin's 'The Power Of Love' and Tom Odell's 'Real Love'

The clip has been viewed more than 375,000 times on Youtube.
