Foo Fighters are set to headline NOS Alive Festival next summer, it's been revealed.
Joining the previously announced headliners, Depeche Mode, the US rockers will take to the main stage in what's set to be one of the biggest shows of the summer.
The announcement comes after the band hinted at their future tour plans by posting a mysterious space image on Twitter, which shows Portugal highlighted in red.

Foo Fighters will headline the Friday (July 7) of the event, with the performance marking their first appearance in six years.
This year's event saw the likes of Arcade Fire, Tame Impala and Radiohead descend on Lisbon, and next summer is already shaping-up to be just as impressive. The biggest rock band in the world set against the beautiful beach backdrop and amazing weather? Yes please.
Foo Fighters were forced to cancel their Glastonbury headline performance last year after Grohl broke his leg on stage. Their return to Europe this summer can only add to those rumours of a Worthy Farm appearance.
NOS Alive Festival will run from 6-8 July
