The xx have released a second snippet of new music, via a Spotify playlist. Listen below.

After uploading a 55-second untitled clip as part of their 'In The Studio' playlist last week, the London trio have done it again - with another slice of moody ambiance appearing online.

Though abstract and drenched in reverb, a male voice can be heard briefly before the track fades out to silence - is that you Oliver? It certainly sounds like it could be The xx.

The music proceeds a collection of tracks the band are inspired by, with the playlist including the likes of Drake, Sia, The Cure and Radiohead. New music aside, it's well worth a listen.

Meanwhile, the band have announced European and Japanese winter tour dates, in which they promise to be "testing out some of our new songs" The band haven't toured since the Coexist album cycle in 2013. We're ready.
