Adele has banned Donald Trump form using her music during his Presidential campaign.
According to The Independent, the Republican frontrunner has played ‘Rolling In The Deep’ at various rallies and has allegedly played ‘Skyfall’ at a rally in Ohio. "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning," her spokesman confirmed.
Other artists that have denied Trump from using their music include Neil Young, Aerosmith and REM.
After Trump used their music, REM frontman Michael Stipe released a statement saying, "Go fuck yourselves, the lot of you – you sad, attention-grabbing, power-hungry little men. Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign."
Stipe’s bandmate, Mike Mills added, "Personally, I think the Orange Clown will do anything for attention. I hate giving it to him."
Conversely, Azealia Banks said that she will be voting for Trump because he is "evil, like America. I only trust this country to be what it is: full of shit. Takes shit to know shit so we may as well, put a piece of shit in the White House."
Meanwhile, Adele has been announced as a BRIT Award nominee, with four nominations under her name. There are also rumours of her joining Coldplay and Noel Gallagher to form a supergroup at the BRITs to perform a Bowie tribute.
