Last night saw Snoop Dogg appear live on TV during his cousin, Sasha Banks’ intro into the WWE Women's Championship.
The rapper performed live as his cousin was making his first appearance on WWE Women’s Championship. Snoop featured live at the AT&T Stadum in Arlington, Texas to be sure that his cousin got the welcome she wanted.
Before the event however, Snoop was on hand to be inducted into WWE’s hall of fame. He is now placed alongside the likes of Mike Tyson and Arnold Schwarzenegger. But he is the first musician to be inducted to the hall of fame, with a relationship with the show going back to his first appearance, when he helped Hulk Hogan throw Curtis Axel over the top rope during last year’s Wrestlemania, go-home show.
Not only has the rapper performed live and taken part in some of the wrestling for WWE but he also hosted one of the shows. Back in 2009, Snoop Dogg served as a master of ceremonies at Wrestlemania XXIV and guest-hosted RAW in 2009.
Alongside Snoop’s induction, Sting, the Godfather the Fabulous Freebirds, Big Boss Man, Jacqueline and Stan Hansen will also be added to the hall of fame.
