Tulisa has been banned from driving for 15 months after pleading guilty to a drink-driving charge.
The ex N-Dubz singer broke down in tears whilst giving her address during Monday morning’s hearing at Highbury Corner magistrates court, London.
Tulisa was questioned by police after her Ferrari Spider collided with a Saab outside Southgate tube station on 10 September. Her Ferrari has since been sold.
The court heard that Tulisa had drunk two glasses of wine before the incident. Prosecutor Tarika Jayaratne claimed that the singer had been driving “on the wrong side of the rode” prior to the collision.
The singer had 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Her lawyer said, “she lost control very briefly, she has sold the car and very much learnt her lesson”.
She must also pay a fine of £1,185 and has made no comment upon leaving the court.
