Republican presidential candidate vows to reunite Pink Floyd

John Kasich has next to no chance of winning, so it's all a moot point really

Republican presidential candidate John Kasich has vowed to reunite Pink Floyd if he gets elected. Won't you have more important things to do, John?

The Ohio caucus took place this week, the first major event of the lengthy presidential campaign, and Ohio Governor Johhn Kasich only managed to earn 1.9% of the vote.

Often, when candidates realise how unlikely it is that they'll win, they start making bold, unattainable promises. They're usually at least vaguely related to politics though, but whatever.

Speaking to CNN, Kasich said that Roger Waters' performance of The Wall was the best gig he'd ever seen, and added, "If I'm president, I am going to once and for all try to reunite Pink Floyd to come together and play a couple of songs."

Perhaps someone should inform David Gilmour of these plans, because the guitarist said recently, "I'm done with it. I absolutely don't want to go back."
