Dundee-based pop singer Be Charlotte has released her anthemic, catchy single 'Machines that Breathe'. You can watch the video to it first on Gigwise below.

The track for this pitch perfect teenage singer, who has a heavy Scottish accent, uses a mix of live instruments and digital technologies to create an alluring soundscape that lends from avant electronica and indie pop. With producer Marcus Mackay (Frightened Rabbit, Snow Patrol) co-producing with Be Charlotte, the ambitious sonics are comfortably up there with the greatest pop productions of our time.

Her quality has already see her play the BBC introducing stage at T In The Park, and get playlisted by Radio 1 and Radio X. It's one of those rare tracks that has you reaching for the repeat button at the end of every listen.

Visually, it's a psychedelic affair with falling images akin to the Matrix screensaver sitting on top of footage of Be Charlotte going about her day. It shows Be Charlotte taking strong artistic decisions in every aspect of her work.

Be Charlotte and will play live at The Art School, Glasgow on 8 October.
