Elton John has revealed that he's working with Brandon Flowers on The Killers' new album.

It's been almost four years now since The Killers released their fourth LP, Battle Born. In the intervening years, Flowers has released a solo album, The Desired Effect - but he's now looking to make more music with his band.

Flowers recently told NME that he hoped to have new music "at the end of 2016 maybe," and in a new interview with Shazam, Elton John revealed his plans to write for the album. "I'm hoping to go to Vegas and write with Brandon for the new Killers record, I'm leaving today," he said. "So that'll be interesting."

In the same interview, John discussed his own new album, Wonderful Crazy Night, as well as his love of bands such as Grimes, Christine & The Queens and James Blake. Good taste, Elton.
