Topshop's attempts to ride on Adele's coat-tails has backfired, after many fans pointed out that they barely stock clothes in her size.
The fashion outlet tweeted, "2, 4, 6, 8, who do we appreciate? Adele!" with a link to '6 Reasons Why We Are Adele's Biggest Fans' - and it was met with a somewhat perplexed response.
@Topshop @Adele Why do you exclude people with her body shape from all your collections and marketing campaigns then?

@Topshop 12, 14, 16, 18, make some clothes real people fit in. @Adele

@Topshop @Adele funny she couldn't wear anything in your stores so are you writing about her bc she's the top female artist?

@Topshop I thought you were just listing the sizes of clothes you make but I appreciate her too 😁

Last year, Adele told Australia's 60 Minutes, "I've always been asked questions about my body and my weight and my size and my style and stuff like that. It's a little bit annoying that men don't get asked that question as much."
She added, "'But other than that it seemed to astound people that I was plus size and being successful, that was how I felt."
