Sir Paul McCartney is the latest star to honour Prince, covering the Purple Rain classic 'Let's Go Crazy' in his Royal Badness' hometown. Check it out below.
The former Beatle turned solo icon rolled in Minneapolis as part of his One On One tour, paying tribute to the local hero by adorning the stage in Prince's symbol and rolling out a rollicking cover of 'Let's Go Crazy'.
This came as the world united to remember Prince by playing 'Nothing Compares 2 U' simultaneously - marking seven hours and 13 days since his passing.
This week also saw Beck remember Prince with a soulful cover of 'Raspberry Beret'.
It has also been reported that Prince was due to meet with a doctor the day after his death in order to help him beat a painkiller addiction.
Meanwhile, speculation continues to surround Prince's death - amid rumours that he had an addiction to painkillers and was due to see a doctor for it days before his death, while claims have also emerged that he was battling AIDS.
McCartney meanwhile, has been confirmed to headline Desert Trip by Coachella organisers - alongside The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who.
