Never one to suffer fools, Father John Misty recently hit out at BBC 6 Music's Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie after enduring a pretty awkward and excruciating interview. Check it out below.
The 'I Love You, Honeybear' singer-songwriter was appearing on RadMac's show on Friday 13 May, during an interview that started off with a pretty light chat about merchandise and jeggings, before quickly descending into awkwardness.
It all started when being asked about his name and his distance from former band Fleet Foxes, before he replied: "I have a feeling that you're just leading me with blunt questions."
It only got worse from there when being pushed on his 'lothario' alter-ego. The remainder of the interview is largely full of awkward silences and pretty defensive responses - as well as calling them out on a number of occasions for their questions, interview technique and interrupting him. The DJs admitted being left 'exasperated' before 'bowing to his superior knowledge'. They compared their experience to that of Eamon Holmes painful chat with David Blaine.
