Here's the first new song from The Avalanches in 16 years

The Avalanches have released their first song in 16 years - ‘Frankie Sinatra’. Listen to it below.

The elusive Australian band first teased new material last week, via a mysterious hotline number which, when rang, played a crackly extract from ‘Subway’. Now they’ve revealed ‘Frankie Sinatra’ in all its glory.

The song, which is a fairground-esque calypso number, features vocals from Danny Brown and MF Doom. There’s also a Sound Of Music sample and some squelchy brass parts.
