Tyler, The Creator is living the dream at the upper echelons of the world but he started humbly on MySpace.

These six tracks uploaded by a 17-year old Tyler in 2008 came at a time when Myspace was  surviving by the skin of its teeth and Facebook was just starting to throw its weight about.

On his Wikipedia, his first mixtape is said to have been released in 2009 but a Reddit user has discovered a collection of excellent songs hidden under the alias, I Smell Panties.

The tracks may not have the super producers or notable personalities guesting that his latest records have but you can hear such originality in his style and explicit lyrics of a comical, sexual nature. The track 'Lilo Fucks Stitch' gives you a jist of the feel of the Myspace page. The song 'Lisa' makes Eminem's Slim Shady LP sound polite, and 'Hi To Me' sounds like it's written by someone who was watching South Park at five years old instead of Tom and Jerry.

Meanwhile, The former Odd Future member hasn’t released anything since 2015’s ‘Cherry Bomb’. BUt he is starring in a documentary due to be released in 2017 about the making of it, called Cherry Bomb: The Documentary. The likes of Kanye West (who compares Tyler to director Spike Jonze), Lil Wayne, Pharrell and ScHoolboy Q can all be seen in the trailer.
