BBC Radio 1's Future Festival will return for a 2017 event, with the aim to showcase the very best upcoming bands and artists. See full lineup and ticket details below.

The event will broadcast live from BBC's Maida Vale Studios, with under-the-radar acts such as The Amazons, Declan McKenna and Nadia Rose performing in the historic, iconic building.

Radio 1's MistaJam - who will host the event along with Huw Stephens - said: "This year's Future Festival line-up features some of the most exciting and diverse new artists from around the world that have been championed across BBC Radio 1's specialist output for some time, all destined to break out in 2017. From the neon pop/R&B of Alma to the straight up rock of The Amazons via the South London street tales of Dave, be prepared to be introduced to your new favourite act."

Forever the purveyor of new music, Stephens said the station has got hold of "some brilliant artists", adding: "With bands like The Big Moon and The Amazons who've been gigging hard for the last year to super talented emcees like Dave and Nadia Rose, it's going to be a great night. And all in the legendary BBC Maida Vale studios, unrivalled around the world!”

Declan McKenna, who will perform at the event, toured with Blossoms and Cabbage and won the Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition. A Jools Holland performance helped land him on the BBC Sound of 2017 longlist along with Nadia Rose and The Amazons.

The Future Festival has previously featured acts such as The 1975, Royal Blood, James Bay and Stormzy, who dare we say have gone on to be quite successful.

If you want to attend the event, you need to be quick - registration closes at 20:00 tonight (January 12).

Radio 1's Future Festival takes place at BBC Maida vale Studios on Tuesday, January 17.
