Blaenavon have revealed the full details of their debut album name, That's Your Lot and set a release date of 7 April. They've also shared a video to their brilliant new single 'Orthodox Man'.

The birth of That's Your Lot was announced via their Facebook page and the significance of the occasion wasn't glossed over. They talk about the process of biding their time to create something truly special in a truly meaningful way. Read the announcement below:

"We know we’ve made you wait.
But while you’ve been waiting
We’ve been working away
Quietly
Frantically
Pouring everything we know into this
To make it all
Worth it.
5 years of our lives
Into 59 minutes of yours."

Fortunately throwing their heart and souls into the band and holding out has been a clever move. As tempting as it must have been to release something to ride the wave of hype that they gained from being on many Ones To Watch lists and radio playlists in 2012 and 2013, they didn't succumb to it. They bided their time patiently, and acted only when everything was in the right place at the right time. Subsequntly they've produced something that so far sounds pretty spectacular - it's a whole other level to their EPs and could well compete with the best British indie guitar band debuts of the decade - we'll have to wait and see.

Based on the above track alone you can tell that sonically this album is triumphant. Working with Arctic Monkeys debut album producer Jim Abbiss has evidently been a match made in heaven. While the song itself is an earworm and begs you to reach for the repeat button at the end of the four minutes.

The video is beautifully shot and features the Hampshire three-piece having the time of their lives hanging out in various place in New York and playing on stage and even on a rooftop. It's a feel good visual to a feel good song. 'Orthodox Man' is possibly one of the most upbeat on the album because the other three singles show a darker more sinister side and it's great to see they have few different moods swirling around.

As mentioned, the album isn't out until 7 April but you can pre-order it now.
