He seems to have told them to stuff it if he's not getting nominated

'Grow Up' singer Olly Murs has reportedly pulled out of the forthcoming Brit Awards nominations ceremony.

The singer, whose album 24 hours recently went platinum, has apparently called off performing at tomorrow’s (January 14) live show after learning that he received no nominations this year.

A source told The Sun: “Olly is gutted. One of his main ambitions is to win a Brit and he really thought he had done enough to be nominated.

“As soon as Olly and his team found out he had no nominations they made the decision to pull out.”

Murs hasn't said anything on social media or made a statement but his name is no longer on the official BRIT awards site.

The singer who has five albums out may be one of the biggest selling pop acts in the world but it seems being huge doesn't automatically equate to getting a nod from the judges.

Murs has never received a BRIT but does have a Goldene Kamara award and two BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards to his name.

Murs' lack of a nomination is the one of few certainty we know about tomorrow's nominations. We do know Robbie Williams will receive the 2017 BRIT Icon Award as he celebrated with a performance at Troxy, Limehouse, London late last year and Rag n' Bone Man has received the awards Jack Garratt got last year: The Critics' choice.

It's likely Blossoms could be up for the British breakthrough award considering how well received their debut which spent two weeks at number one was received but we'll have to wait and see.

Christine and The Queens, Zara Larsson could potentially get the nod for best female solo artist. And the big one, British Album Of The Year will hopefully see David Bowie's Blackstar get nominated.

Craig David, Calum Scott, Christine and The Queens and BRITs Critics’ Choice 2017 winner, Rag’n’Bone Man are all listed as performers on the night which is presented by Emma Willis on ITV1 from 6pm tomorrow acts as a precursor to the main awards ceremony held on February 24 at London’s O2 arena.
