Manchester's British Sound Project returns for a second year in 2017 with performances from The Horrors and White Lies. Now, the event has expanded to include a heavier day of music, with Twin Atlantic, Deaf Havana and more added to the bill.
Following on from last year's all-dayer held at the impressive Victoria Warehouse venue, the event focuses mainly on indie and alternative rock. This year, the warehouse will welcome a slightly different genre and crowd on the heavier Friday evening.
In addition to Twin Atlantic and Deaf Havana, Cambridge outfit Lonely The Brave will take to the stage, along with a DJ set from Southampton rockers Band of Skulls. There's also two big headliners for Friday night yet to be unveiled.
Joining The Horrors and White Lies on the Saturday are Foals, who will provide a DJ set, as well as live performances from psychedelic Brighton band TOY, and New York Tourists.
James Cohen, Victoria Warehouse owner said: "We're delighted that The British Sound Project is returning to Victoria Warehouse following last year' success. It's a perfect venue for an indoor music festival. We've already hosted some of the biggest music events and brands here, including BBC Radio 6 Music, Live Nation, Vevo, Cosmosis...and it's great having The British Sound Project team back again."
Last year's event was headlined by Primal Scream, and saw sets from Badly Drawn Boy, Reverand & The Makers and Shaun Ryder's Black Grape.
British Sound Project takes place September 29 and 30 at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester. Ticket details can be found here.
