Following the release of new track 'Misery', which forms part of the deluxe version of 2016 album, California, pop-punk trio Blink 182 have said they'll start work on the follow-up LP next year.
Due to drop on May 19, the re-released California album will feature 11 new tracks - basically a new album in itself. The band have previously unveiled 'Parking Lot', which will be included, along with an acoustic spin on the single 'Bored To Death'.
Ahead of its release, bassist Mark Hoppus has revealed that the band are looking forward and plan to start writing for their next record in 2018.
Speaking in an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Hoppus said: "We'll take a little bit of time off, and then at the end of this year we'll go back in the studio and start writing the next album,"
He continued: "We have such a positive energy going on right now... a creative flow. Everybody has a bunch of ideas and we want to capture that. We'll get in the studio as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, Blink 182 are all set to take on a huge UK arena tour this summer. The band will play across the country and end the tour with two nights at The O2 Arena, London.
