MØ, real name Karen Marie Ørsted, has unveiled details of her academy tour around the UK, taking in some of Britain's best venues including the 5,000 capacity Brixton Academy.
The Danish pop star has endured critical and commercial acclaim for her infectious latest single, 'Nights With You', which saw 5 million streams in less than a week.
The cut shows some serious production mettle bringing together some rib-rattling bass lines with subtle yet effective use of sequencers and drum machines. Vocally, MØ is up there with Lorde in terms of her ability to invest so much emotion in her delivery and her natural tone is beautiful. Ultimately, it's a cutting edge pop cut that deserves the attention it's getting - it's got far more leftfield appeal than the worldwide hits 'Cold Water' and 'Lean On' that she wrote with Major Lazer
MØ is currently putting the finishing touches to her eagerly anticipated second album, due for release later this year. It will be the follow up to her highly-acclaimed debut album No Mythologies To Follow, released in 2014.
