Montreal band Pottery have today (15 April) released ‘Hot Like Jungle’, the closer for their upcoming debut album Welcome To Bobby’s Motel.

The gentle shimmy of tambourine glides you into this sublimely relaxing track. Much akin to floating down the amazon, in the glare of the sun and next to a thick jungle canopy. With vocals that feel like a subconscious voice, urging you to just relax, recline and let go. Each appearance of synth feels like an extra ray of light on the face. Tune in below:

Welcome To Bobby’s Motel has been delayed until 26 June, meaning that we’ll have to wait a little bit longer to jet off with this concept record. The band describe Bobby as, “A punching bag filled with comic relief.  There’s a piece of him in everyone, there to remind us that things are probably going to work out, maybe. He’s you. He’s him. He’s her. He’s them”. Later adding, “You might spend your entire life looking for Bobby’s Motel and just when you think you will never find it, you realize you’ve been there all along.”
