In the ultimate cross-over episode, one to watch band Peaness somehow ended up on stage with Paramore last night! The band night out seeing their idols play in Manchester turned into an on-stage sing along for the history books.

We’ll let Jess from the band explain: “We were doing what everyone else was doing, jumping and pointing, shining torches - and then Hayley clocked my orange beret (which I'd like to note I will be buried in now) and then the rest is just chaos for me. I kept flicking between thinking "Holy shit I'm on stage with Paramore! Ahhhhhhh!" and "ok girl nows your moment, let's show 'em."

Cut to Hayley introducing Jess and the band to the Manchester arena crowd, announcing "Jess is a singer you guys! And she's in a band called Peaness" followed up with a tweet praising the band as an official co-sign.
Obviously, they’re over the moon. Jess said: “I first discovered Paramore the same time all the millennial emos did - 2005! I've sang their songs (in my room, in the car, in the shower) for years. To see Hayley Williams that close up and share her microphone - let alone seeing her impressed with my singing - was unreal. UNREAL. I kept flicking between freaking out wanting to do a good job and then just sheer joy and excitement.”
As huge Paramore fans, we’ll put aside our insane jealousy to be pleased for the band, happy to see one of our favourite up-and-coming names bigged up by the greats.
