Eminem leads the nominations for next year's Grammy Awards with a total of ten nods.

The rapper is shortlisted for Album of The Year for 'Recovery' and Song Of The Year for his Rihanna-featuring single 'Love The Way You Lie'.

He is also in contention for Best Rap Solo Performance for 'Not Afraid' and Best Rap Solo for 'Lie'.

Bruno Mars picked up seven nominations, while Lady Gaga and Jay-Z both have six.

The nominations were announced during an hour-long event in Los Angeles, which featured performances from several other nominees, including Katy Perry and Justin Bieber.

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles on February 13 2011.
