South London rockers Palma Violets have announced that their debut album will be released at the end of February next year.
The record, to be released through Rough Trade, will feel like a great achievement for the band who recently told BBC Newsbeat: "Our ambition from the beginning is just to leave a record behind."
It's been a busy year for the Lambeth lads. October saw them squeeze and impressive 23 dates in to October's 31 days for their first headline tour.
Between their rockus live shows and single Best Of Friends, the four-piece have generate the sort of buzz that's become almost unprecadented in indie music in recent years.
It's a long way to come from Lambeth Road's Studio 180, where the band first got together.
In fact it was at Studio 180, at Palma Violets' basement gigs that the buzz first began to grow, to the point that it caught the attention of the music press and A&Rs, leading to their signing with Rough Trade.
Today it was announced the Palma Violets would be on 2013's NME tour, along with Mercury Prize nominees Django Django and Miles Kane.
While February will see them achieve their goal to 'leave a record behind', hopefully they won't call it a day at that, as it would seem there are great things expected from Palma Violets.
The band's debut album will be released on February 25th through Rough Trade. Palma Violets will be performing tonight (Nov 27) on Later With Jools Holland.
