Haim turned the tables on Welsh band Los Campesinos when frontman Gareth David posted a photo mildly mocking the sisters during a live show in Manchester on the weekend.
Both bands were performing in the UK city on 8 December, when David posted a photo showing him sticking two fingers up to Haim, who were headlining a gig at The Ritz - while Los Campesinos were performing nearby at the Gorilla. See his tweet below.

Someone on the Haim team saw the tweet and responded - in style. All three members of the band were photographed sticking their fingers up at the Los Campesinos! star, along with thousands of fans at their gig. Haim 1 - Los Campesinos! 0.

Este Haim later tweeted a seemingly serious response to the photo-rivalry, writing: "YOU FUCK WITH ME I FUCK WITH YOU HARDER. AND I LOVE EVERYONE THAT WAS AT THE SHOW TONIGHT".
The incident reportedly escalated after the show, as fans took the rivalry seriously, with David reporting that Haim fans verbally abused him after the gig.
"Haim fans are waiting outside the venue to shout abuse at me. They are chanting "fuck you Gareth"," he later tweeted. "I've never even heard a HAIM song as far as I know! Tom says the album's really great. I just love the #banter".
The morning after (9 December 2013) he explained why he posted the photo in the first place, tweeting: "I don't dislike HAIM. Would have done the same tweet at literally any band playing that close to ours."
