Kate Bush today (21 March 2014) announced a string of live shows in London - her first in 35 years. Bush is a musical legend of the highest order she has numerous fans within the world of music, one of which is Rod Thomas,better known as the brilliant electropop star Bright Light Bright Light.
No stranger to the world of epic piano pop, Bright Light counts the Sensual World among his favourites with 'Love and Anger' picked as a personal stand out from the star's XX album. This week, he chose performed exclusively for Gigwise in a session at Vibe Bar off Brick Lane. Nice timing, huh?
Bright Light Bright Light is currently gearing up for the release of his new EP entitled I Wish We Were Leaving, featuring none other than Elton John on the lead track. The EP is released on Self Raising records 7 April and thoroughly worth your time.
