A video has emerged online of Justin Bieber telling a racist joke, which features the repeated use of the N-word.
The clip, which was posted by The Sun on Sunday newspaper, is clearly a few years old, and is believed to have been filmed in 2011.
In the video, Bieber can be seen telling the punch line of one joke, to which an off-camera voice is heard saying: "That's just mean. That's just straight ignorant."
The singer continues, "Why are black people afraid of chainsaws?", to which the voice begs: "Don't answer it. Don't even say it." Bieber proceeds to quickly repeat the N-word in a way reminiscent of a chainsaw's engine.

In his short career so far, Bieber has collaborated with musicians including Ludacris, Sean Kingston, Jaden Smith, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
Neither Bieber nor his management have publicly acknowledged the video, or apologised for its content.
