Trent Reznor has not parted ways with Beats Music, following the company's $3 billion buy-out from Apple, contrary to reports.
Reznor previously serves as Chief Creative Officer, helping to oversee the heavily curated functions of Dre's app. According to USA Today, he had chosen to depart the company, along with other other executives Fredric Vinna and Ola Sars, who have both headed to Spotify.
The departure could have attributed to any number of factors, including Reznor returning to his day job - touring heavily with Nine Inch Nails. He is also working on the score for the new David Fincher movie, Gone Girl with Atticus Ross, so it's safe to say that he is a very busy man.

Since reports Beats Music has released a statement to Rolling Stone, stating that all rumors of Reznor's exit are "all false". They added that his role within the company would remain unchanged going forward.
