Sam Smith's home was allegedly targeted by burglars while he was away attending Glastonbury festival at the weekend.
The 'Stay With Me' star performed an acclaimed set at the festival, before sticking around to party with friends throughout the weekend - tweeting his enjoyment and informing the world of his presence via a series of tweets:

However, the singer then returned to his South London home to find that his home had been burgled with a number of items stolen, a 'source' told The Sun.
"Sam and his mates were all down at the festival when it happened," said 'the source'. "They (the burglars) took a number of items from his property. Sam was gutted when he got back. He's clearly paying the price of fame."
The source added: "Sam loves where he lives but his management are looking to move him somewhere else as his current place is not very secure."
They also claim that this is the second time that the star's home has been targeted this year.
Hopefully he will have moved or improved security in time for his upcoming UK tour - for tickets and more information visit Gigwise Tickets.
