Sex Pistols fans hoping for a reunion are to be left bitterly disappointed after a recent interview by Glen Matlock, in which he's slated both John Lyndon and Steve Jones.
Talking to
The Mirror, the bassist referred to Jones as a 'multiple sod' and of Lyndon admitted that he was 'happy' that contact had disintegrated between the pair after they fell out of contact five years ago.
"I've had no cause to speak to him," he said. "There is nothing I know of in the offing and I’m really not that fussed about it. I have no idea if we will reform but who knows the secret of black magic box. I wouldn't write new Sex Pistols material, we’re fine with the old stuff."
Lyndon releases autobiography 'Anger is An Energy' in October and has recently starred in a TV campaign for butter brand 'Campaign Life' which Matlock has referred to as 'cheesy', adding:
"I think he was trying to move on from being Jonny Rotten. It's always measured against the Sex Pistols, whether he has moved on from that I don't know. That is his way of trying."
