American superstar Madonna has expressed her opinions on the Israel-Palestine conflict once more, following criticism and confusion on Instagram.
The 'Like A Prayer' hitmaker posted a picture on Instagram saying 'Peace' linking to www.anera.org, an organisation devoted toimproving the lives of Palestinian refugees and poor families in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon. Her caption read: "Cease fire on both sides! The children of Gaza need our support! www.anera.org #ceasefire #peaceinthemiddleeast #livingforlove".
This follows another Instagram post that the singer put out, comparing flowers to innocent children of Gaza. In the caption she said: "Who has a right to destroy [the children]? No One!!! CEASE FIRE! #peaceinthemiddleeast".
The star subsequently came under criticism from many who misconstrued the post as support for Hamas. She then clarified: "I do not support Hamas! I support human dignity and respect! I support sharing! I support Peace! #ceasefire".
Recently, Madonna has been working on her new album and has been seen recording with Diplo. A potential feature with Disclosure has also been spoken about, further exciting people about the megastar's thirteenth studio album.
